Hang in there. I am a friend of Jessica’s G. and recently had unilateral following an extensive DCIS diagnosis ( 12/28). I am recovering and dealing with it all as well. Peace and blessing to you.

Just learned of all this today. Somehow whenever I am in Vermont, I operate on the theory that we are outside of internet reach. Hang in there. Sending you lots of good energy.
HI Lisa: Somehow I came across your blog through a mention of Giuliana Rancic on Twitter and wanted to let you know that I am just a few days ahead of you with my own BMX (surgery was on 1/6/12). I live in the Jersey burbs, have two sons ages 20 and 11 and thought we might keep each other company through our recoveries. I also blog – though my blog is not focused on breast cancer, I DID announce it on my blog in a way that you might appreciate. Here’s the link: http://www.joanoliveremmer.com/?p=552. I wish you the best of luck – sounds like you are doing well, have a great prognosis and support system. Joan Emmer
FYI- you are still a lawyer! And there is lots more to the about- you are witty, wise, a daughter, a friend, a comedian and an AMAZING person!
Don’t forget blue team song leader!!!
